Uni-Italia India was invited to be a part of the Consular Night at the Sheraton Grand in Bengaluru, a gathering of members of Diplomatic Missions in India along with members of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). A notable highlight was the presentation by HE Alfonso Tagliaferri, Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, who commenced the interaction in Kannada, immediately resonating with the local audience. He introduced representatives from the ITA Italian Trade Agency and Uni-Italia, explaining the collaborative efforts of the Italian system in India, emphasising the complementary strengths of Italy and India—Italy’s prowess in manufacturing and India’s robust agricultural sector—and how these synergies could foster mutual growth. He also pointed out the extensive educational opportunities in Italy, mentioning over 600 English-taught courses available for Indian students.
