The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) 2025 India Edition, held from March 25 to 27 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Center, provided a remarkable platform for academic collaboration and dialogue, attracting leading universities and education professionals from around the world. This prestigious event served as an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen academic and governmental ties between India and Italy.
Over three dynamic days, six esteemed Italian universities ( Università di Trento, Università degli Studi di Padova, Università degli Studi di Bergamo,Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore ,Università degli Studi di Pavia,Università di Firenze) were represented at the Italian Pavilion, creating a vibrant hub for showcasing the excellence of Italian higher education. Uni-Italia India had the privilege of participating in this conference Six prestigious Italian University , where Uni - Italia India worked diligently to promote Italian universities and foster meaningful bilateral academic relations.
Throughout the event, we engaged with distinguished academic partners and institutions globally, exploring potential avenues for collaboration, enhancing student mobility programs, and promoting the internationalization of higher education. The exchange of insights and experiences with such an inspiring community of professionals proved truly enriching and invigorating.
A highlight of the event was the visit of Mr. Sergio Ledda, Scientific Attaché at the Italian Embassy in New Delhi, to the Italian Pavilion. Mr. Ledda met with representatives of the participating Italian universities, offering his support and reinforcing the commitment of the Italian government towards strengthening academic and research cooperation with India.
The APAIE 2025 India Edition was not only a celebration of global educational excellence but also a catalyst for new initiatives and partnerships that will shape the future of academic collaboration between India and Italy. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to represent Italy at such a significant event and to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on global education.
