As a government facilitatory body, of many jobs that Uni-Italia does across the calendar, bringing the Italian and Indian universities closer is one of paramount interest. In continuation of the same, Uni-Italia had the pleasure of supporting Università Iuav di Venezia (IUAV) in promoting their new academics in the field of Environmental Engineering across the Northern and Southern Jurisdiction in India from 10th-14th February 2025.
Along with Professor Masimiliano Scarpa, Associate Professor at IUAV and Anna Ruggeri Associate in Promotion and Orientation Office and Camila Casal from the International Student Recruitment and Orientation service at Università Iuav di Venezia - And from the Uni Italia team Ms. Ruby Thomas from Uni-Italia New Delhi and Ms. Dharshini Murali from Uni-Italia Bengaluru had the pleasure of visiting Bennett University (10th February), Shiv Nadar University (11th February), SGT University (12th February) and Christ University (14th February) for a master class session hosted by these universities.
Professor Scarpa, along with Camila Casal and Anna Ruggeri, led an engaging presentation that painted a vivid picture of IUAV’s academic landscape. A dynamic Q&A session that followed, allowed students to delve into the intricacies of IUAV’s academic offerings, teaching methodologies, and unique learning environment. The session provided a platform for curious minds to explore opportunities for growth and innovation in the Environmental Sustainable Engineering field.
IUAV also has its Master’s programs in related fields, including: Renewable energy engineering in coastal Environment, Sustainable Transportation and Smart Maritime Mobility, Architecture.
The masterclass session was followed by an interaction between the faculties of the Engineering Department along with the International Reach out office of the Indian Universities and representatives of IUAV and Uni-Italia to discuss the potential collaborations and partnerships that can be facilitated between the Italian- Indian universities and how Uni-Italia in its capacity of diplomatic works can assist in the same. The event concluded with a campus tour of Indian Universities campuses and a formal farewell felicitation.
