Uni-Italia @ Study Networks International Shiksha

On the 27th & 28th of November, Uni-Italia participated in Day 3 & 4 of ‘International Shiksha’, an event curated by ‘Study Networks’ for promotion of higher education abroad. ‘International Shiksha’, was a platform where the students could gain information regarding studying abroad. Ms. Chiarra Fernandes, represented Uni-Italia at the event.
The event was divided into two sections: an exhibition area where students were given the opportunity to interact with various universities and associations which represented countries of which Uni-Italia was a part. The other section of the programme provided general information to the students as a whole through presentations and videos.
Day 3
S.M Shetty International School, Powai
On the 27th of November, ‘International Shiksha’ was held at S.M Shetty International High School and Junior college Powai, an institution which thrives on helping student discover and develop their true potential.
The event saw more than 200 students from grade 9-12 along with their parents and teachers, attending the event as well as students from the 10th grade from Pawar Public School, Chandivali.
Mrs. Shireen Ardeshir, began the event by addressing the students. She explained to them the significance of the ‘International Shiksha’ and how they could benefit from this event. Picking a good country and university to study at when abroad is a crucial decision and as ‘Study Networks’ they were happy to be a part of their educational journey.
Day 4
Billabong High International School, Thane
On the 28th of November, the event was held at Billabong High International School, Thane. The students from grades 9 – 12 as well as their teachers and parents took active participation in the event.
The day started with a warm welcome from the principal of the school. She encouraged the students to gather as much information as they require from the different universities and associations at the event.
The students spent the day taking in the information that would help them pursue their higher studies in Italy and other countries abroad.
