MIT-ADT University, Pune: Campus Visit for Academic Collaboration

MIT-ADT University, Pune, welcomed Mr Arkaprabha Biswas, New Delhi Manager, Uni-Italia India, for a campus visit on 20th June 2023, with a vision to cultivate academic collaboration between the university and the Italian higher education institutes. Initiated with a closed-door meeting with Prof. Rekha Sugandhi, Dean, International Office, Prof. Dr Neeti Trivedi, Faculty, School of Architecture, Ms Mrunal Sule, Manager, International Office, and Mr Kshitiji Dilesh Bagade, Coordinator, International Office, the session was followed by the interaction with the students of the School of Engineering.

The students of the school were first introduced to the Italian education system, universities and their relevant curriculum, and eventually the overall opportunities out of the bi-lateral relationship between Italy and India. The main session was followed by a more exclusive and detailed Q&A session, where they got to know about the scholarship programs, job opportunities, etc., among other things. The final part of the visist was concluded with a meeting with Prof. Dr Milind Dhobley, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts and Performing Arts, where the possibilities of a more close-knit collaboration with the Italian AFAM institutions were explored.
