Uni-Italia’s involvement in promoting Italian language and culture in India

Uni-Italia IndiaIstituto Italiano di Cultura di New Delhi, and Università per Stranieri di Perugia collaborated to host a conference on the promotion of Italian language and culture in India, its impact on the #StudyInItaly programs, and the opportunities at Università per Stranieri di Perugia.

  


Followed by the welcome address by Dr. Andrea Anastasio, Director, IIC, Mr Arkaprabha Biswas, Manager, Uni-Italia India, New Delhi Office, had the opportunity to showcase the role of Uni-Italia in the promotion of Italian higher education and its scope in India. The presentation also touched upon the topics like general post-study opportunities, employability, and the certain professional advantages of learning the Italian language simultaneously.

Prof. Dr Letizia Cinganotto addressed the audience and showcased what Università per Stranieri di Perugia, the oldest university in Italy to have offered dedicated courses to foreigners across the globe, has to offer for the upcoming year, including scholarship opportunities, and the flexibility of launching exclusively-crafted courses for the Indian students. She also stressed the importance of Uni-Italia and Istituto di Cultura in promotion of Italian higher education and language learning in India.

The session ended with an open floor and Q&A session, where speakers had the opportunity to interact with the students and other faculty members and delegates from the Indian universities.
