Italian Education System visits PCET Pune

Uni-Italia along with representatives from 5 prestigious Italian Higher Education Institutions having in-person presence in India visited PCET - Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust in Pune, Maharashtra. PCET includesthe SB Patil School of Management, SB Patil School of Architecture, Liberal Arts, Engineering and various others. PCU - Pimpri Chinchwad University - has campuses under PCET.
 
Present were Ms. Pooja Dodeja and Ms. Asra Khan from Uni-Italia’s Mumbai Office, Ms. Kajal Rajani, Area Manager, India Sub-Continent and Gulf NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Mr. Joel Aphonso, Area Manager India, Subcontinent & Gulf at Domus Academy, Ms. Richa Agrawal, Country Manager - Guidance & Recruitment, India (South Asia) Università Bocconi, Mr. Krutarth Hendre, In-Country Representative (India) - Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Mr. Raul D’Souza, Area Manager India, Sub-continent & Gulf at Istituto Marangoni. 

  
 
Following a closed-door meeting at the SB Patil School of Architecture with Dr. Mahendra Sonawane, Principal, Director SB Patil College of Architecture and Design (SBPCOAD), and Associate Professors Ar. Neelima Bhide, Ar. Abhisek Ranka, Ar. Bijal Vakaharia, and Ar. Shiva Shisodia as well as Dr. Manimala Puri, Vice Chancellor in-charge PCU, Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar, Director, PCET’S SB Patil Institute of Management, and Ar. Dr.Aishwarya Gopalakrishnan, Head, Centre for European Studies, PCET & PCU, the personnel proceeded to the auditorium for the falicitation and the candle lighting ceremony. This was followed by presentations by Uni-italia and the five Italian Universities - NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Domus Academy, Università Bocconi, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, and Istituto Marangoni. 

Over 200 students from architecture, management and design studies attended the interactive presentations. Following a tour of the campus, possibilities of signing MOUs between the Institutions was discussed. Uni-Italia looks forward to organising more campus visits to facilitate connections between Indian Colleges and Italian Universities.
