On 19th July, Dayananda Sagar University hosted a Study in Italy presentation, featuring representatives from Uni-Italia and Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). The event aimed to inform students about educational opportunities in Italy and the application process. The presentation commenced with Mr. Sugat Das, IED Country Head India. Mr. Das provided an insightful overview of design as a discipline, highlighting what students can expect to learn if they choose IED for their master's studies. He also emphasised the achievements of IED and its alumni. Ms. Dharshini Murali from Uni-Italia Bengaluru delivered a comprehensive presentation on studying in Italy, detailing the various opportunities available for students and why they should study in Italy, and explaining the entire application process, from initial submission to obtaining a visa. Later a Q&A session was held, during which students inquired about scholarship opportunities and specific courses they were interested in. The session proved to be highly informative, equipping students with valuable knowledge about IED, as well as the visa and application process for studying in Italy.
