PROCEDURES TO STUDY IN ITALY

Starting from the Academic Year 2020/2021, the application for Italian Higher Education Institution pre-enrolment is submitted online through www.universitaly.it portal.

The general documents required to pre-enroll are:

  • scan of a passport-size photo;
  • scan of the passport;
  • scan of qualifications that allow access to the chosen course, according to the information provided by the institution of higher education, with any translations and supporting documents and language certificates.

Please note: when the high school diploma has been issued by a no-Italian school, students must apply to embassies or consulates for a document called "Dichiarazione di Valore" or in English "Declaration of Value" where it will be stated that the diploma has been gotten after at least 12 years of pre-university education.

For further information, please contact the Italian consular network.
