WHO WE ARE

Uni-Italia, jointly founded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of University and Research, and the Ministry of Interior of Italy, has a mission to promote Italian Higher Education, facilitate the mobility of foreign students and researchers to Italian universities and AFAM institutions, and foster academic cooperation between Italy and other countries.

The Uni-Italia General Directorate is located at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and operates in close collaboration with the Ministry and its Representations abroad.
Uni-Italia also has a widespread presence in Third Countries through Centers located at diplomatic structures and Italian Cultural Institutes!

Uni-Italia Assistance

Italy boasts over 100 universities offering programs in diverse fields such as Business, Health, Humanities, Law, Science, Engineering, Art, Design, and more than 100 AFAM academies specializing in Fine Arts, Music, and Dance.
With over 1000 courses taught in English, these institutions cater to international students, offering a wide array of programs including Bachelor's degrees (3-year courses), Master's degrees (2-year courses), Single Cycle Degrees (5-6 year courses), PhDs, and Specialization Programs.

Through its Centers abroad, Uni-Italia offers "Study Guidance" designed to assist students in making informed decisions about their academic journeys. This includes helping students select appropriate courses, majors, and universities that align with their academic background, goals, and expectations. Additionally, the centers provide support with pre-enrollment and visa procedures, as well as assistance with scholarship applications, and offer tips and advice upon arrival.

Italian Days on Higher Education

Uni-Italia, through its Centers abroad, spearheads numerous initiatives aimed at promoting the Italian education system on a global scale.

One of its flagship events are the Italian Days on Higher Education (IDOHE), an annual fair organized in collaboration with Italian Embassies, Consulates General, and Italian Cultural Centers worldwide.

IDOHE serves as a prime platform for students to explore a plethora of opportunities, ranging from undergraduate and postgraduate programs to specialized courses across various disciplines. The event facilitates direct interaction with representatives from Italian institutions, enabling prospective students to gather valuable insights for their educational journey ahead.

Beyond academic information, IDOHE fosters cultural exchange and mutual understanding, emphasizing the universality of education and Italy's welcoming embrace of learners from diverse backgrounds.
